Founder
Pastor Linda Cowels
In 2010, Pastor Linda incorporated Anointed Community Services Int'l and began her passionate journey to help the disadvantaged. She later established the Women's Ignite Network to empower women to lead happy and fulfilling lives.
Growing up in an abusive family environment, with her mother being a victim of domestic violence, Pastor Linda carried a burning desire to support single mothers raising their children alone and those suffering from domestic violence. Anointed Community Services was officially founded in April 2010.
Then, in July 2011, Pastor Linda embarked on a mission to teach Job Preparation, Life Skills, and Computer classes at a homeless shelter named New Beginnings of Central Florida in Clermont. This experience filled her with an overwhelming sense of joy and purpose. She knew without a doubt that helping the homeless was her calling, and it brought her immense fulfillment.
Over the years, countless homeless single women have transitioned into stable homes, become entrepreneurs, and mastered the art of successful parenting. The Women's Ignite Network was born out of a deep desire to see homeless women with children not just survive but thrive as leaders in their communities.
WIN operates as a subsidiary of Anointed Community Services Int'l, dedicated to ensuring women and their children live healthy, prosperous lives and find success. Presently, Women's Ignite Network offers free training, a mobile app providing essential referrals for food, rental, and utility assistance, a complimentary After-School and Summer Activities program for children aged 5-15, and support letters to aid women in accessing affordable medical care. In addition, they actively promote entrepreneurship and provide assistance to women starting their own businesses.
Pastor Linda is also a published author, with two books to her name: "In Search For A Father's Love" and "A Journey of Faith to Transform Communities." She holds licenses and ordinations as both a pastor and an apostolic woman, and she's a recognized radio personality on 89.3 FM radio.
